What Wine Lies is

Wine Lies is a social game built around wine clues. A Host runs the game while players take part around the same table. Wine Lies currently offers free starter packs and hosted nights; paid packs will become available only when an explicit checkout is enabled.

Alcohol is not part of the service and is not sold by us. If participants drink, they do so voluntarily and at their own responsibility, within local law.

Accounts, nights and access

A Host may start a night without an account from the same phone or browser. Host access is device-bound and time-limited for security. An account lets you access your nights and entitlements on other devices.

Keep sign-in details secure. Tell us promptly if an account or access link is misused. A guest night may be lost if browser or device data is deleted.

Acceptable use and content

You may use the game for private or otherwise lawful hosting within the pack you are using. Do not bypass technical limits, copy or publicly publish pack content, resell access, access another person’s account, or use the service for unlawful, deceptive or harmful purposes.

If you enter a name or other personal data, make sure you have permission to do so. Public recaps do not reveal private answers or the Liar’s identity in rounds I–III unless the Host expressly discloses it.

Availability, changes and termination

We provide the service with reasonable care, but do not promise uninterrupted operation or permanent storage of a guest night. We may restrict access for maintenance, security or abuse prevention. Material changes will be published with a new update date.

We may restrict or end access for a breach or where use threatens the service or other users. This does not limit consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Intellectual property and complaints

Wine Lies text, artwork, rules, packs and software are protected by copyright and other rights. Rights not expressly granted by these terms or the terms of a particular pack remain with the operator or its licensors.

Send questions and complaints to hiya@wine-lies.com. If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, a consumer may use the out-of-court consumer dispute procedures available under Slovenian law or seek help from the relevant European Consumer Centre.
